Right on Track

     A couple days ago we were able to talk with the people working on our house and get an update. We are excited to learn that everything is right on track and things should be wrapping up in a few weeks. There still isn't a set date for anything but they are working diligently.

    The counters are all in and the tile is the bathrooms and utility room are finished. The walls have been textured and everything has been painted.

    The next project is to finish the countertops and not very long after that the wood floors and carpet will be going in.

    The project manager let us know that his main job is to walk around and find things that aren't done right or not well enough. He is pleased that he hasn't found anything yet and commented on how good the crew is that is working on our house.

    It has been rainy the last few days but once it stops and things dry out they will be bringing in fill dirt to level out the yard then comes the driveway. They are also contacting landscaping companies to work out what the front yard will look like. They said that they will be calling us to go over ideas which of course, Jesse will be handling

 

    Jesse was full term yesterday and we are getting everything ready and organized for the baby to show up. I am predicting the tenth but we will see. 

    We have been going through the house and filling boxes and cleaning things up. It is still weird to think that  this is the month we have been waiting for. We are excited beyond belief to welcome this baby boy to our family and not long after move into our dream home. We are blessed beyond what we had ever imagined and we are grateful every day for  the lives we are living.
